This is a fun twist on a classic recipe! These are perfect for baby showers, parties or a fun back-to-school treat for your kiddos

Here’s a fun twist on a classic! These would be perfect for parties, baby showers, or just a fun treat for your kids. Plus, they are so easy to make that it’s a great way to get kids in the kitchen!

We used Kool-Aid to flavor these, so you could change it up however you’d like. Just choose a flavor, and add food coloring to match your party decor!

Pink Lemonade Rice Krispie Treats Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 10.5 oz Marshmallows
  • Red Food Coloring (optional)
  • 1 packet Pink Lemonade Kool-Aid Mix
  • 1/4 cup Pink Candy Melting Chips
  • 1/4 cup White Candy Melting Chips

Directions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Stir in Kool-Aid until well mixed.
  4. Optionally, stir in enough food coloring to make the marshmallows pink.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add the Rice Crispies cereal and stir until cereal is well coated.
  7. Using butter or cooking spray, prepare a 9 x 9 pan.
  8. Butter a your hands or use wax paper to press the mixture firmly into the pan.
  9. Allow to cool.
  10. Cut into bars.
  11. Heat pink candy chips in a small bowl microwaving for 30 seconds at a time.
  12. Stir and repeat until the chips are melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes.
  13. Transfer chocolate to small plastic bag and snip off a tiny piece of the corner.
  14. Pipe diagonal lines on each bar.
  15. Repeat process with white candy chips.
