While working at The Wildlife Express Train, I had to know a lot about my home park, The Big Ole’ Animal Kingdom! Here are some fun facts for you!

One of the most fascinating facts I learned was that the Kilimanjaro Safari attraction is so large you can place the ENTIRE Magic Kingdom inside of it and there would still be leftover space for parking. This reason why this attraction is so large is that the Imagineers wanted to make sure there would be plenty of space for the animals to roam, eat, and sleep.
Furthermore, I already knew that Animal Kingdom was the largest of all the Walt Disney World parks. However, not only is it is big, it is HUGE! In fact, all three of the other parks can fit comfortably inside it. That means Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios can all fit inside Animal Kingdom, with leftover acres!
Both of these nifty bits of information were part of my spiel while conducting on The Wildlife Express Train. Without fail, this part always caught guests’ attention and received many “really?”s and “wow!”s. It was fun to surprise the guests and gain their attention, which was actually pretty difficult to do ha!
Working at The Wildlife Express Train, you discover all sorts of interesting trivia and inside information. This was one of my favorite parts of my job, partly because I liked sharing them with others. But it was also because I am a Disney fanatic and want to know everything about it, ha! I look forward to sharing more secrets and fun facts with you, so be sure to be on the lookout for future posts! Until next time, as they would say in Swahili, “Kwahirini!” (Bonus points go to the person who knows what this means! =P)
