- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 1 cup almond milk
- 2 tablespoons golden monk fruit
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
Place a small nonstick skillet on the stove over medium heat.
Add all of the ingredients except the butter.
Bring to a simmer, constantly whisking.
Once bubbles form, turn the heat down to low.
Gently cook for 3 minutes, whisking often.
Taste and adjust the sweetness. If you add more, allow it to fully dissolve.
Turn off the heat and add the butter.
Slowly stir until the butter melts and incorporates.
Remove the pan from the stove and let it cool.
