Yogurt Parfait Recipe With Apples & Granola

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup plain Skyr or Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 small apple
  • 1/2 cup high-fiber granola
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 1 scoop fiber powder optional

Instructions

  • Gather all of the ingredients.
  • Add the yogurt, protein powder, and fiber to a bowl.
  • Whisk until smooth and set aside.
  • Dice your apple, leaving the peel on or not.
  • When the apple is diced, it’s time to assemble the yogurt parfait.
  • Add 1/3 of the yogurt mixture to the bottom of your glass.
  • Next, add 1/3 of the apples, a pinch of cinnamon, and a tiny pinch of salt.
  • Repeat that process two or three times, depending on how many layers you prefer.

Notes

  • Once you dice the apple, it will quickly turn brown, so it helps to have all the ingredients ready before you start.
  • When you first start mixing the yogurt and protein powder mixture, it will look like it won’t combine. Trust the process and keep mixing. It will become smooth and creamy within a minute. Different brands of protein powder can be much drier than others, so you may need just a touch of water to smooth it out.
