STK Steakhouse Happy Hour: Best At Disney Springs?

If you’re looking for upscale food and drinks without the price tag, the STK Steakhouse happy hour is a must-do on your next vacation. Unique bites like Japanese Wagyu tacos and melt-in-your-mouth meatballs pair perfectly with killer cocktails, all for under $9, making STK hands down one of our favorite places to eat at Disney Springs.

Happy hour at STK is a fantastic way to experience amazing food and drink in a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that makes you want to stay a while. If you’re doing Disney on a budget, it’s a great way to enjoy some truly amazing Disney food without blowing your budget, and it might even save you money. Our last date night at STK was less than $50 for four appetizers and two drinks!

STK Steakhouse Happy Hour

After years of seeing pictures of the Lil’ Brg & Truffle Fries all over social media, I was thrilled to finally try the wildly popular STK Disney Springs happy hour for myself. Having experienced it firsthand, I can confidently say this is one of the best, if not the best, happy hours at Disney Springs, and you should immediately add it to your list!

The menu was a pleasant surprise. In our experience, happy hour menus are typically small with only a few offerings, but this one has plenty to choose from, and there is something for everyone, even kids. I mean, what kids wouldn’t love giant cheesy tater tots? We’re heading back in December, and I can’t wait to bring our kids and grandkids!

STK Steakhouse Disney Springs Happy Hour Review

STK Orlando’s happy hour keeps things simple with a $3, $6, and $9 pricing structure across a wide range of bites and drinks. Officially, it’s meant for the bar, lounge, and patio only, but we’ve been seated at a table in the section right next to the bar plenty of times without any issue, since it’s basically all one open space anyway.

Saturday – Sunday: 2:30pm – 5:30pm

STK Steakhouse is a high-end restaurant chain with locations in Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York. It brings a modern-chic energy to Disney Springs with dim lighting, a lounge feel, and a style that never feels stuffy. The lounge can get busy and loud, but it still feels intimate, making it perfect for Disney couples like us looking for a cozy night out.

Drinks at STK Steakhouse

Not Your Daddy's Old Fashioned STK Steakhouse

Now let’s talk drinks. STK has a reputation for cocktails that go well beyond your standard order, and the best part is you can try many of them during happy hour for just nine dollars!

Not Your Daddy’s Old Fashioned $9

  • If we’re being honest, a nine-dollar old fashioned is what drew me to STK in the first place. As an old fashioned girly, I’ve had a lot of truly terrible old-fashioneds at Disney World, but I loved this one. Made with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, bitters, brown sugar, and vanilla bean, it checked every box. One big ice cube instead of crushed ice already earns major points with me, and it wasn’t too sweet, so I could actually taste the bourbon. Simple as that, it’s now a drink I’ll be looking forward to at Disney Springs on every future trip.

Spiced Watermelon Margarita $9

  • On our last few trips, Shannon has really gotten into trying different margaritas around Disney World. He’s nowhere near as opinionated about his margaritas as I am about my old fashioneds, but he’ll definitely speak up if one isn’t good. This one blends Patrรณn Silver, St-Germain, watermelon purรฉe, fresh lime, and jalapeรฑo with a distinct Tajรญn rim, and he loved it!

The “Table Bread” (complimentary)

The Table Bread at STK

I’m not usually the person who gets excited about the bread basket, but STK completely changed that for me. It comes out warm in a pull-apart sourdough style, crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle. You’ll want to drink the chive oil it’s served with, and the whipped “blue butter” on top is delicious. It’s complimentary, but sometimes you have to ask.

Save Money At Disney (with kids meals – for adults)

Oyster on The Half Shell $3

Oyster on The Half Shell

We also grabbed oysters on the half shell, and they didn’t disappoint. Fresh and briny, they were served the classic way, with tangy mignonette, cocktail sauce, and fresh lemon wedges. They were the perfect way to start the meal before diving into the rest of the menu. Also, how cute is the tiny bottle of Tabasco? Details!

Tater Tots $3

Tater Tots

Then there were the tater tots, which honestly might be the sleeper hit of the entire happy hour menu. Shannon wasn’t a fan, but I had to stop myself from eating the whole plate. Crispy on the outside, creamy and cheesy on the inside, they were addictive! Served with a spicy remoulade for dipping, adding just the right amount of kick. I would go just for these and a drink!

Lil’ Brg & Truffle Fries at STK Steakhouse $6

Lil' Burger and Truffle Fries at STK Steakhouse

The Lil’ BGR has been a staple on STK’s happy hour menu for years. A Wagyu patty is sandwiched between a pretzel bun with caramelized onions, cheese, pickle, tomato, and STK’s tangy special sauce. The burger itself is rich and full of flavor. I worried the pretzel bun would be dry, but it wasn’t. It’s served with Parmesan truffle fries that were crispy, perfectly salted, and had a subtle truffle flavor.

I recommend ordering two plates at a time, three at the most. As you can probably tell from the pictures, this was two separate trips, and we ordered too much on both occasions. These small plates are more filling than they look!

Wagyu Meatballs $6

Wagyu Meatballs

The Wagyu meatballs were another standout. They were rich, meaty, and tender. You’ll feel like you’re eating the very best homemade meatballs, but better, because that Wagyu is rich and beefy. The sauce was delicious and well balanced without leaning too sweet or too acidic. Save some of your complimentary bread to soak up the sauce!

Short Rib Quesadilla $6

Short Rib Quesadilla

I almost didn’t order these, but I’m a sucker for short ribs, and I’m so glad I did. Made with fontina cheese, tomatoes, chimichurri, and a mustard cream all tucked into a flour tortilla, every bite is rich and fatty in the best possible way. It’s hearty, filling, and honestly a great deal. The size is generous for $6, and you’re getting a ton of protein. I think this could easily be split between two small children. My kiddos loved quesadillas when they were growing up, and they still do!

Japanese A5 Wagyu Taco $9

Japanese A5 Wagyu Taco STK Steakhouse

I was underwhelmed when this plate first arrived, but it turned out to be a perfect example of a simple, well-balanced meal that lets a single ingredient shine. In this case, it’s the A5 Wagyu beef. The meat is incredibly rich and tender, paired beautifully with sweet, slightly acidic pickled onions that cut right through the richness. It truly is the perfect bite! Quick warning: if you’re a heat wimp like me, remove the peppers.

Jalapeรฑo Pickled Shrimp Cocktail $9

Jalapeรฑo Pickled Shrimp Cocktail at STK

As the resident shrimp lover in the family, Shannon loved this dish. He noted that the shrimp was perfectly cooked, offering a crisp, fresh, and clean taste. It’s served with a classic cocktail sauce, zesty pickled jalapeรฑo peppers, and fresh lemon. This is served very chilled. It would hit the spot on a hot Florida day.

Wrapping things up, the STK Steakhouse happy hour is easily one of the most surprising places to eat at Disney Springs. If you want high-end food and killer cocktails without draining your vacation budget, this spot deserves a place on your Disney trip itinerary. Have you experienced happy hour at STK in Disney Springs? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts and some of your favorites!
